UP Crime: Man Kills Mother, 4 Sisters In Lucknow After An Argument; Arrested
In a tragic incident, five family members were found dead in a hotel in Lucknow. The police have detained 24-year-old Arshad, who has confessed to killing his mother and four sisters at Hotel Sharanjeet in the Police Station Naka area. The accused admitted to the crime during initial questioning, citing a family dispute as the motive.
The bodies of Asma, the mother, and sisters Rahmeen (18), Alshia (19), along with two younger sisters aged 16 and 9, were discovered by authorities. Arshad, hailing from Islam Nagar in Agra district's Kuberpur area, was apprehended at the scene. All bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.

Police Investigation Underway
DCP Central Raveena Tyagi stated that further interrogation of Arshad is ongoing. "Today, the bodies of five people were found in a room of Hotel Sharan Jeet. The local police reached the spot and a person named Arshad, around 24 years old, a resident of Agra, was detained. In the preliminary interrogation itself, he said that due to a family dispute, he had killed his four sisters and mother. Further interrogation is being done. Further investigation is underway," she explained.
Babloo Kumar, Joint CP, mentioned that the family had checked into the hotel on December 30. He noted that both Arshad's father and brother were present at that time. "Bodies of 5 people have been found - four girls and their mother. The hotel staff said they had come here on December 30 and their brother, father were also there. The matter is being further investigated," he added.
