The application window is open from April 16 to May 7, with the fee submission deadline set for May 8, 2025. Corrections to application details can be made between May 9 and May 10.
The UGC NET 2025 June examination is scheduled from June 21 to June 30 at various centres. Admit cards will be available a week before the exam date. Applicants should review the official notification thoroughly before submitting their forms to ensure compliance with all requirements.

UGC NET Application Process
To apply for the UGC NET 2025 June exam, visit ugcnet.nta.ac.in or related sites. Locate the 'UGC NET 2025 June application form' link and register by providing basic information. After registration, complete the form by uploading necessary documents and paying the fee. Print a copy of your completed application for future reference.
The application fees are categorised as follows: General/Unreserved candidates must pay Rs 1,150; General-EWS/OBC-NCL candidates Rs 600; and SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender candidates Rs 325. Ensure you select your category correctly to avoid issues during payment.
Eligibility Criteria for UGC NET
General/Unreserved and General-EWS candidates need a minimum of 55% in their Master's Degree or equivalent from a UGC-recognised institution to qualify for this test. For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), applicants should not be over 30 years old as of June 1, 2025.
There is no age limit for those applying for Assistant Professor roles or PhD admissions through UGC-NET. This flexibility allows a broader range of candidates to pursue academic careers without age constraints.
