Uddhav Thackeray And Raj Thackeray Mark Ganesh Chaturthi With Family Prayers In Mumbai

Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, along with his family, visited the residence of his cousin and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray on Wednesday to mark Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. The visit took place at Raj Thackeray's residence 'Shivtirth' in Mumbai, where the families came together for Ganpati darshan.

Uddhav was joined by his wife Rashmi Thackeray and their sons, Aaditya and Tejas. The Thackeray family actively participated in the Ganesh puja, offering prayers and performing traditional rituals. A video from the occasion showed Uddhav Thackeray seeking blessings from Lord Ganpati, highlighting a moment of devotion and family unity during the festival.

Ganeshotsav, one of Maharashtra's most celebrated festivals, is being observed across the state with grandeur and devotion. The 10-day festival marks the arrival of Lord Ganesha into homes and public pandals with music, rituals, and vibrant decorations.

From the iconic Lalbaugcha Raja to local community mandals, devotees have gathered in large numbers to seek blessings for prosperity and peace.

In a parallel celebration, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and his family welcomed Lord Ganesha at their Mumbai residence, 'Varsha,' on Wednesday.

The Chief Minister, accompanied by his wife Amruta Fadnavis, performed the Ganesh aarti and pooja as part of the ceremonial welcome. A video shared online captured the Fadnavis family carrying out rituals, offering prayers, and celebrating the arrival of Ganpati Bappa with devotion and tradition.
