Tourists From Gujarat Caught After Attempting to Dine and Dash at Rajasthan Hotel

A group of five tourists from Gujarat, including a woman, were caught after attempting to leave a restaurant in Rajasthan without paying their bill of ₹10,900. The incident occurred at the Happy Day Hotel in Siyava, near Mount Abu.

Escape Gone Wrong

After enjoying their meal, the group tried an old trick - pretending to head to the restroom before slipping out of the restaurant and driving away. However, their plan quickly unraveled when they got stuck in traffic shortly after leaving.

Hotelier's Chase and Police Intervention

The hotel owner and a waiter noticed the escape and immediately began pursuing them. CCTV footage helped trace the car moving towards Ambaji, near the Gujarat-Rajasthan border. With help from local police, the authorities intercepted the tourists before they could cross fully into Gujarat.

Payment and Resolution

Once caught, the tourists reportedly contacted a friend, who transferred the pending bill amount online to the restaurant, resolving the matter without further legal action.
