Syed Salahuddin’s son got money in 7 installments to burn Kashmir
Sources also say that Bhat and Yousuf were in touch with each other since the past 7 years.
Syed Salauddin's son who was arrested by the NIA received money in seven installments between 2011 and 2014 from a Pakistani national, the probe by the National Investigation Agency has found.

Syed Shahid Yousuf was one of the several contacts of Aijaz Bhat, a Pakistan national who is currently in Saudi Arabia, the probe also revealed. The NIA had registered the case in 2011 after one hawala transaction to the tune of Rs 3.4 lakh was found.
Yousuf an employee in the horticulture department in Jammu and Kashmir is said to have been handed over a set of codes by Bhat. NIA sources say that he stayed in touch with Bhat who was one of the main financiers of the Kashmir unrest. Yousuf got in touch with Bhat through his father Salahuddin who is a proscribed global terrorist.
Sources also say that Bhat and Yousuf were in touch with each other since the past 7 years. Following the death of Burhan Wani, it was decided to spread unrest in the Valley.
There were transfer of funds on various occasions, NIA officials say. The officials also said that Yousuf for every transaction would be provided with money transaction code. He would then use the codes to pick up the money and then pass it on to those creating the unrest.
The NIA would now probe his links with his father who has been instrumental in fuelling the unrest in the Valley since the death of Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Burhan Wani.
The NIA will now seek to get the larger picture from Yousuf. The probe is at a very crucial stage and the questioning of Yousuf would help the NIA understand better the role played by his father. His father has been shown as an absconding accused in the case. The NIA names Syed Salahuddin in the chargesheet.
