SSC GD Expected Cut-Off Marks 2025: Will The Cut-Off Be Higher This Year? Check Here
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the cut-off marks for the General Duty (GD) Constable Exam 2025 in PDF format. These cut-off marks determine the minimum scores required for candidates to qualify for the next stages, which include the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and the Physical Standard Test (PST).
Factors Affecting SSC GD 2025 Cut-Off
The cut-off marks depend on several factors, including the number of vacancies, the difficulty level of the exam, and the total number of candidates who appeared for the test. To ensure fairness and transparency, SSC issues separate cut-offs for each state and category.
SSC GD 2025 Exam Schedule
The SSC GD Constable Exam 2025 began on February 4 and is scheduled to conclude on February 25.
Expected Cut-Off Marks Of SSC GD 2025 Exam
Based on previous trends, experts predict that the expected cut-off range
for the General (UR) category will be between 138 and 148. For Other Backward Classes (OBC), the cut-off is likely to be between 135 and 145, while the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) may see a cut-off between 133 and 143. The cut-off for Scheduled Castes (SC) is expected to range from 127 to 137, and for Scheduled Tribes (ST), it may fall between 117 and 127. Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are expected to have a cut-off between 69 and 79.
SSC GD 2024 Cut-Off Marks
Last year, SSC conducted the GD Constable Tier 1 exam from 20 February to 7 March 2024, with a re-exam held on 30 March 2024. The cut-offs were released separately for male and female candidates under the All-India vacancies for the Special Security Force (SSF).
For male candidates, the cut-off for the General (UR) category was 153.56, while the cut-off for OBC was 152.28. The EWS category had a cut-off of 151.15, whereas SC and ST candidates needed a minimum of 148.21 and 143.65, respectively. Ex-Servicemen had a cut-off of 94.65.
For female candidates, the General (UR) category had a cut-off of 146.53. The OBC cut-off was 144.43, while EWS candidates required at least 143.07 to qualify. SC and ST candidates had cut-offs of 138.20 and 130.27, respectively. The cut-off for Ex-Servicemen was 62.65.
