Smriti Irani Slams Rahul Gandhi Over 'Flying Kiss', Calls Him 'Misogynistic'

In a heated exchange of words, Smriti Irani accused Rahul Gandhi for allegedly blowing a flying kiss in Parliament and launched a scathing attack on the Congress leader, branding him as "a misogynist" man.

Addressing the incident, Irani said, "Only a misogynist man can give a flying kiss to a Parliamentarian... it's a characteristic of his family." Her frustration was palpable as she condemned such behavior in the esteemed House.

Voicing her strong objection, Irani stated, "The one who was given the chance to speak before me displayed indecency before leaving. It is only a misogynistic man who can give a flying kiss to a Parliament which seats female members of Parliament. Such undignified conduct was never before seen in the Parliament of the country."

Following Rahul Gandhi's speech in the Lok Sabha, Union Minister and BJP MP Smriti Irani highlighted the Opposition's evasion of a debate on the Manipur issue, contrasting it with the government's willingness to engage.

Irani asserted, "Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah & Defence Minister Rajnath Singh repeatedly said that the government is ready to debate on the Manipur issue. The opposition ran away from it, we did not..."

Responding to a topic raised during Rahul Gandhi's address, Irani stated, "It was mentioned in the House today that he (Rahul Gandhi) undertook a Yatra and gave assurance that they will reinstate Article 370 if it is up to them... I would like to tell the person who has run away from the House that neither will Article 370 be reinstated in the country nor will those who threaten Kashmiri Pandits with 'Ralib Galib Chalib' be spared." Her strong words reflected the gravity of the situation.
