Secunderabad-Shalimar Superfast Express Derails In Howrah

Three coaches of the 22850 Secunderabad-Shalimar SF Express derailed near Nalpur Station of the South Eastern Railway division at 5.30 am, ANI reported.

"A total of 3 coaches including one parcel van of the 22850 Secundrabad Shalimar SF Express derailed near Nalpur Station of the South Eastern Railway division. No casualties reported so far," CPRO South-Eastern Railway said in a statement.

However, rescue and restoration work is underway, and buses have been arranged to transport passengers to Kolkata.

The authorities sent accident relief and medical trains from Santragachi and Kharagpur to the site.

The visuals shared by news agency shows the workers busy with the restoration works.
