SBI Specialist Cadre Officers Recruitment 2024: Applications Open For 58 Positions
The State Bank of India (SBI) is now accepting applications for the recruitment of 58 specialist cadre officers. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the bank's official website at sbi.co.in. The application deadline has been extended to October 1.
Application Fees
1. Candidates in the General, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories must pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 750.
2. Candidates from the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempt from this fee.
How To Apply
1. Go to SBI's official website.
2. Click on the application form link on the homepage.
3. Select the "Apply" or "Apply Online" button.
4. Fill in the application form with the required details.
5. Attach your resume, cover letter, and any other necessary documents.
6. Pay the application fee and submit the form.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of two main stages: shortlisting and interviews:
1. Shortlisting: Meeting the minimum qualifications and experience does not guarantee an interview invitation. The bank will have a committee that sets the criteria for shortlisting candidates. Only a selected number of candidates will be invited for interviews.
2. Interviews and CTC Negotiation: Interviews will be scored out of 100 marks, and the bank will determine the qualifying marks for this stage. During the interview, a CTC (Cost to Company) Negotiation Committee will discuss the CTC.
Merit List
A merit list will be created based solely on interview scores, listed in descending order. If multiple candidates achieve the same score, they will be ranked by age, with older candidates taking priority.
Important Points
1. Reservations for various categories will follow the current Government of India guidelines.
2. Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria by the specified eligibility date before applying.
3. All necessary documents, including a brief resume, ID proof, age proof, caste certificate (if applicable), educational qualifications, work experience, and any additional qualifications, must be uploaded. Missing documents will lead to disqualification from the selection process.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the bank's website for updates and information, including the list of shortlisted or selected candidates. Communication, such as call letters, will be sent only via email; no physical copies will be mailed.
