Restoration Of Article 370 To Return Of Kashmiri Pandits: Here Are PDP's Poll Promises For J&K Elections

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has unveiled its manifesto ahead of the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. The party is focused on restoring Articles 370 and 35A, which were revoked in 2019, and aims to bring back the original status of Jammu and Kashmir. The PDP also emphasises diplomatic efforts between India and Pakistan to resolve conflicts and build regional cooperation.

In addition to constitutional changes, the PDP promises several social and economic reforms. They plan to revoke laws like PSA, UAPA, and the Enemy Act to prevent unjust arrests of activists, journalists, and concerned citizens. The party also pledges to re-establish the J&K Human Rights Commission and ensure the dignified return of Kashmiri Pandits with better housing provisions.
