Republic Day 2024: How and Where To Watch Parade Online

If you're not in Delhi or couldn't grab a ticket for the January 26 parade, no worries! You can catch all the action live on Doordarshan TV channel. The broadcast starts at 9 AM. Don't have a TV? No problem! You can also watch it on Doordarshan and All India Radio's official YouTube channels on your phone or laptop. Apart from this, if you need sign language interpretation, it's available for those with physical challenges. So, whether you have a TV or not, you can still enjoy the parade on your mobile or laptop.

2,274 Cadets From 28 States To Participate
In the upcoming National Cadet Corps (NCC) Republic Day Camp 2024, a whopping 2,274 cadets from all 28 states and eight Union Territories will be taking part. This time, it's extra special with 907 girls participating, marking the highest number of girl cadets in the camp.
The camp kicked off at the Cariappa Parade Ground, Delhi Cantt, with a Sarva Dharma Puja on December 30, 2023. It's not just a local affair - the diverse group includes 122 cadets from Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, along with 171 from the North-Eastern Region. It's like a little 'Mini India' on display!
All-Women Contingent To Take Part
For the first time, the Republic Day parade on Kartavya Path will feature the participation of the Border Security Force's (BSF) all-women marching and brass band contingents. A total of 144 women BSF constables, led by an Assistant Commandant rank woman officer and two subordinate officers, will be marching down Kartavya Path on January 26 during the 75th Republic Day celebrations. Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, will be present as the Chief Guest. Dress rehearsals for the Republic Day celebrations began at Kartavya Path in the national capital on Thursday.

The chief guest for this year's Republic Day celebration will be French President Emmanuel Macron, marking the sixth occasion of a French leader being honoured in this role. A formal invitation to be the Chief Guest at the 75th Republic Day function was earlier extended to President Macron by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The official invitation conveyed the anticipation of receiving President Macron and celebrating the India-France strategic partnership, along with their shared belief in democratic values. The invitation was posted by PM Modi on his official X handle, formerly known as Twitter.
