Shah Rukh Khan song plays, police step in

The video, initially shared on Instagram, features dramatic background music from Shah Rukh Khan's film Badshah.

It captures the man lying flat on the tracks as a train speeds overhead. Moments later, he calmly rises, dusts himself off, and walks away apparently unhurt.

However, the seriousness of the act did not go unnoticed. The Government Railway Police (GRP) swiftly took notice of the clip as it gained traction online.

The man was soon identified as Ranjeet Chaurasia, a resident of Nyotani village in Hasanganj, Unnao.

From viral stunt to jail cell

According to India Today, Inspector Arvind Pandey of Unnao confirmed the arrest, stating: "We registered a case as soon as we came across the video. The man was identified, arrested, and sent to jail. Anyone found obstructing or misusing railway tracks for stunts will face strict legal action."

Worrying trend of hazardous online behaviour

This is not an isolated case. In another recently viral clip, a young man was filmed tearing off a seat cover inside an Indian Railways coach and tossing it out of a moving train's window.

The video, captured at night, shows him grinning while committing the act - clearly aiming for online attention.

Social media users expressed outrage over both incidents, condemning the rise of dangerous stunts performed in the pursuit of internet fame. Many called for tighter regulations and swift penalties for those who misuse public infrastructure and risk lives for digital clout.
