PM Narendra Modi stops convoy to meet 4-year-old girl in Surat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not new to breaking protocols and on Monday he did just that as he stopped his convoy for a 4-year-old girl. The young fan was delighted as she was taken to meet the Prime Minister who was seated in his car.

The Prime Minister brushed protocol aside and asked for his convoy to be stopped en route to Surat. PM Modi asked for the convoy to halt after noticing a little girl trying to get his attention. Following his instructions, officials accompanying him arranged an audience with the prime minister for the little girl. Within moments, the convoy was back on track and sped away.

Narendra Modi is known for unexpected surprise moves. The Prime Minister in an unprecedented move had shunned traffic restrictions last week in Delhi. Modi set aside protocol and travelled in regular traffic to the Indira Gandhi international airport in Delhi to receive Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheik Hasina. No traffic restrictions were imposed on the route.
