PM Modi Tops Global Leadership Approval Ratings For 5th Year In A Row With 75%
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again emerged as the world's most trusted and highest-rated leader, reaffirming his unmatched global stature. According to the Morning Consult Global Leader Approval Tracker (July 2025 edition), PM Modi enjoys a staggering 75% approval rating, outpacing all other global heads of state.
Despite being in power for over 11 consecutive years, Modi's popularity shows no signs of decline. Only 18% of respondents disapprove of his leadership, while 7% remain neutral - a testament to the Indian Prime Minister's enduring appeal both at home and abroad.

A Consistent Global Favourite Since 2021
PM Modi's leadership ratings have consistently topped the global tracker for the past five years:
- 2021 - 70% approval
- 2022 - 71%
- 2023 - 76%
- 2024 - 78%
- 2025 - 75%
Even with the slight dip from last year, Modi maintains a commanding lead over his international counterparts - a feat unmatched in recent political history.
Far Ahead of Global Peers
PM Modi's 75% approval places him significantly ahead of other world leaders:
- Lee Jae Myung (South Korea): 59%
- Javier Milei (Argentina): 57%
- Mark Carney (Canada): 56%
- Anthony Albanese (Australia): 54%
- Donald Trump (United States): 44%
None come close to matching Modi's pan-national support or sustained dominance across five consecutive years.
BJP Leaders Celebrate 'Proud Moment'
The BJP was quick to celebrate the achievement. Party leader Amit Malviya hailed Modi as "the most trusted leader in the world," calling it a sign that India is in "safe hands." He wrote, "Loved by over a billion Indians and respected by millions globally, PM Modi tops the global leadership chart yet again."
Senior BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad echoed this sentiment, calling it a "proud moment for every Indian." He added, "This achievement is a testament to the Prime Minister's exceptional leadership, his commitment to nation-building, and the unwavering trust people have in him."
What Drives Modi's Global Trust?
Political observers credit Modi's consistent communication, strong governance model, bold foreign policy, and emphasis on national pride as key reasons behind his popularity. From global diplomacy to grassroots schemes, his leadership has created a perception of stability, vision, and purpose.
Even in a world where approval ratings of many global leaders fluctuate sharply, PM Modi remains a constant - a rare blend of political resilience, strategic governance, and mass appeal.
A Symbol of India's Rising Global Influence
PM Modi's continued dominance in global approval rankings underscores not just his personal influence but also India's rising global stature under his leadership.
