PM Modi Remains 'Most Trusted Leader' In The world, With 75% Approval Rating
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again been recognised as the most popular leader globally, with a 75% approval rating. This data comes from Morning Consult, a US-based business intelligence firm. The survey indicates that 75% of participants approve of PM Modi's leadership, while 18% disapprove, and 7% remain undecided.
The approval ratings are derived from data collected between July 4 and July 10, 2025. Morning Consult explains that these ratings represent a seven-day simple moving average of opinions among adults in each surveyed nation. The data is weighted to reflect representative samples, ensuring accuracy across various demographics and regions.

Global Leader Approval Tracker
Following PM Modi in popularity are South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and Argentina's Javier Milei. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump ranks eighth with a 44% approval rating. Some believe his policy decisions, such as trade tariffs and domestic policies, have affected his standing.
Amit Malviya, head of the Bharatiya Janata Party IT cell, shared this information on social media platform X. He stated, "Loved by over a billion Indians and respected by millions across the globe, PM Narendra Modi tops the Morning Consult Global Leader Approval Tracker once again — the highest-rated and most trusted leader worldwide."
Support from Indian Leaders
Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal also praised PM Modi's leadership on social media. He highlighted that PM Modi is admired across continents and backed by over a billion Indians. Sonowal emphasised that Modi's decisive leadership ensures India's rise and global respect.
Recently, PM Modi surpassed former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi to become the second-longest serving consecutive Prime Minister in India. As of Friday, he completed 4,078 days in office, surpassing Indira Gandhi's tenure of 4,077 days from January 24, 1966, to March 24, 1977.
This recognition underscores PM Modi's strong leadership and global admiration. His ability to maintain high approval ratings reflects his influence both domestically and internationally.
