Pakistanis Have No Place In Indian Films: MNS On Seema Haider's Bollywood Entry

A leader from Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has warned the makers of a Hindi movie for roping in Pakistani woman Seema Haider, who illegally entered India to be with her Indian boyfriend Sachin Meena from Noida.

It comes after the makers started shooting with Seema Haider for the upcoming movie 'Karachi To Noida'.

Pakistanis Have Bo Place In Indian Films: MNS On Seema Haiders Bollywood Entry

"Pakistani citizens have no place in the Indian film industry. We stand firm on this stance. Seema Haider, a Pakistani woman, is currently in India. There were even rumours that she is an ISI agent. For some fleeting fame in our industry, they are trying to turn Seema Haider into an actress. How can these traitorous producers not feel ashamed? Put an end to this immediately, or be prepared for resolute action from MNS," MNS leader Ameya Khopkar tweeted in Marathi.

A clip of Haider busy with the auditioning had gone viral, recently.

The upcoming flick is being funded by Amit Jani. He had also asked her Pakistani husband Ghulam Haider to watch the film to know more about her.

"We want to tell the world how this love story unfolded while playing PUBG, how and why she came to India. We want to convey these elements in our film. So, that's why we are gathering every detail about Seema Haider," Amit Jani added.

Earlier, it was reported that Seema Haider was working on a film called 'A Tailor Murder Story' which was based on Kanhaiya Lal, a tailor who was murdered by Islam radicals.

Seema Haider, a married Muslim woman from Pakistan and mother of four, came across 22-year-old Sachin Meen on PUBG during the pandemic in 2020. After falling in love, she left her country and married him in Nepal. She then went back to her country, sold her property for flight tickets and a Nepal visa from where she illegally entered India with her four children to stay with the man whom she married in May.

She took a bus from Delhi to Noida to meet her lover.
