As Jharkhand goes to polls on November 20, the youth of Ranchi are voicing their top demands, which could significantly influence the outcome of the polls.

From better employment opportunities to enhanced educational facilities and improved infrastructure, the young population is pushing for change.

In candid conversation with OneIndia's Pankaj Mishra, students of Dr Syama Prasad Mukherjee University in Ranchi called for more robust government initiatives to address unemployment, provide skill development programs, and create an environment that encourages innovation and entrepreneurship.

With a growing desire for political accountability and progress, Ranchi's youth are emerging as a crucial force in the upcoming elections, ready to shape the future of the state.

A student, who is pursuing ITI at the varsity, spoke about better employment opportunities for the youth

"The government should regularly post about job vacancies so that we can apply accordingly," he said.

Meanwhile, some of the students deviated from the idea of regular 9-5 jobs and aimed to take up entrepreneurship. On the other hand, one youth wanted to be a social media influencer.

On the whole, the ideas that drive the youth of Ranchi is as diverse as the parties vying for the throne of Jharkhand. Now, all eyes are set on November 23 when the final outcome of the high-voltage poll battle will be revealed.
