Abdullah travelled to Naidgam village in Budgam to express his condolences to Dr. Dar's family. "The void caused by the death of Dr. Sahab cannot be filled, but we will do everything in our power to support you," he said. "We are here to let you know that you are not alone in this moment of grief," he added.

Support for Dr. Dar's Family

The Chief Minister instructed the Budgam Deputy Commissioner to start the process of providing a government job to a family member under SRO-43. He also directed that relief and rehabilitation be provided through other schemes. Abdullah emphasised that the state would bear all costs related to training and coaching for Dr. Dar's son, saying, "Whatever the costs, for training, coaching, or anything else, will be borne by us. We will make him an officer at any cost."

Dr. Dar was employed by APCO Infratech and was stationed at a tunnel construction site on the Srinagar-Leh National Highway when he was killed. The attack also claimed the lives of six labourers working at the site on Sunday evening.

Abdullah's visit and announcements aim to provide some solace and support to Dr. Dar's grieving family during this difficult time.
