Chief of Army Staff General Manoj Pande emphasized the crucial role of youth in nation-building, stating that no nation can achieve greatness without their perseverance, belief, hard work, and sacrifice. He made these remarks while delivering the Field Marshal SHFJ Manekshaw memorial lecture on Imperatives for the Future Leadership of Rising India at the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies in Pune.
India is a Nation of 800 Million Youth

Addressing the students, General Pande highlighted that India is a nation of 800 million youth, each of whom represents an important component of the country's precious national asset. He expressed his firm belief that every young person has the potential to transform many lives, regardless of their chosen field of expertise.
Youth Are the Torchbearers of the Nation
General Pande referred to the youth as the torchbearers of the nation and noted the confident optimism that prevails in the country about the future. He emphasized the numerous opportunities that await motivated, bright, and self-driven young men and women.
