Union Minister Praises Youths Role in Nation Building at National Youth Festival
Union Minister Nisith Pramanik commended the significant contributions of young people in shaping and propelling the nation forward during the 27th National Youth Festival in Nashik. Fifteen outstanding individuals were honored with the prestigious National Youth Award 2020-2021.
Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Nisith Pramanik, commended the significant contributions made by young people in shaping and advancing the nation during the 27th National Youth Festival (NYF) held in Nashik, North Maharashtra. The festival, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 12, witnessed the recognition of 15 exceptional individuals from across the country with the prestigious National Youth Award 2020-2021.

National Youth Festival Inspires Young Minds
Pramanik highlighted the profound impact of the National Youth Festival as a source of inspiration for young people throughout India. He emphasized India's global recognition as a nation of youths and expressed gratitude to those selflessly serving the nation and society.
National Youth Award Recognizes Outstanding Contributions
The National Youth Award honors individuals between the ages of 15 and 29 who have demonstrated exceptional achievements in national or social service. The award aims to instill a sense of responsibility among young people towards society and encourage personal growth. In addition to the 15 individuals, two organizations, Shakti Vikas Bahuuddeshiya Sanstha from Nashik and Unified Rural Development Organisation from Thoubal, Manipur, were also recognized for their contributions.
Award Recipients Receive Cash Prize and Recognition
Each recipient of the National Youth Award received a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, a memento, and a certificate in recognition of their outstanding achievements. The festival serves as a platform to celebrate the accomplishments of young people and inspire them to continue making positive impacts on society.
