Mathura Police Unearth Horrific Murder: Woman, Mother Held for Burning Mans Body in Car

On Thursday, the Mathura Police in Uttar Pradesh arrested a woman and her mother in connection with a body recovered from a burnt car in the Farah area of the district. Senior Superintendent of Police Shailesh Kumar Pandey reported that a burnt car was discovered in a deserted location last Monday, containing a completely charred body.

Investigation Uncovers Victim's Identity

Through investigation, it was revealed that the deceased individual was Pushpendra Yadav, a native of Hathras who resided in Agra and was involved in the transport business. As part of the ongoing investigation, the police apprehended Pushpendra's 20-year-old girlfriend, Dolly, a resident of Agra's Sikandra area, along with her mother, Bhuri Devi.

Main Accused Remains at Large

The primary suspect in the case, Dolly's father Awadhesh Yadav, is currently being sought by the authorities. According to SSP Pandey, Awadhesh Yadav and his wife Bhuri Devi had invited Pushpendra to their residence, where they allegedly killed him with the assistance of other relatives. The body was then placed in a car and set ablaze.

Motive Behind the Crime

The SSP disclosed that Awadhesh and his family held resentment towards Pushpendra due to his affair with Dolly and their elopement in the past. Furthermore, when Awadhesh attempted to arrange his daughter's marriage, Pushpendra intervened by informing her prospective in-laws about his relationship with Dolly, jeopardizing the alliance.

Involvement of Notorious Gang

SSP Pandey revealed that Awadhesh Yadav is a member of the Mathura-based Bhura gang, known for committing heinous crimes such as kidnapping, ransom, and murder. The police are actively searching for Awadhesh, his elder brother Rajesh, and other relatives who aided in the murder.

The Mathura Police continue their efforts to apprehend the remaining suspects involved in the murder of Pushpendra Yadav.
