3D Model Souvenir of Mata Shri Chintpurni Unveiled at NIFT Kangra
The National Institute of Fashion Designing Technology (NIFT) Kangra has created a 3D model souvenir of Mata Shri Chintpurni, offering devotees a unique memento of their visit to the temple. Additionally, a modern museum showcasing Himachal Pradeshs cultural heritage is set to be built near Baba Maidas Sadan.

Memorandum of Understanding Signed
Una Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma and NIFT Director Rahul Chandra signed a memorandum of understanding on Friday, December 8, 2023, to officially launch the production of these handicraft 3D models. The models will feature authentic forms of all the figures and portraits of Mata Shri Chintpurni.
Authentic Sanctum Sanctorum Replicated
Deputy Commissioner Sharma highlighted that NIFT has meticulously carved the authentic form of the temple's sanctum sanctorum into the 3D memento. A dedicated counter will be set up within the temple premises, allowing devotees to purchase these unique souvenirs.
Modern Museum to Showcase Cultural Heritage
In another significant development, the construction of a modern museum within the Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple has been awarded to Pavilion and Interior Company Noida. The museum, to be completed within a year, will operate for two years under the company's management.
Strategically located near Baba Maidas Sadan, the museum will showcase the rich cultural heritage of Himachal Pradesh. Visitors can expect to find exhibits on traditional dances, costumes, musical instruments, and other cultural artifacts.
3D Theatre for Religious Films
Adding to the immersive experience, the museum will also house a 3D theatre where devotees can watch religious films. This innovative feature will further enhance the spiritual journey of pilgrims visiting the temple.
The introduction of the 3D model souvenir and the upcoming modern museum at the Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple are exciting initiatives that will enrich the experience of devotees and visitors alike.
