Man drowns in bid to rescue dog
New Delhi, Feb 22: A 20-year-old man drowned in a canal while trying to save his dog from drowning in east Delhi's New Ashok Nagar area this evening.
The incident took place around 9.45 PM when the youth, identified as Balram, had gone out for a stroll with his dog near the canal, not very far from his residence in New Ashok Nagar, said a senior police official.
