Mamata seeks 'paribartan' in Jharkhand

Film actor Mithun Chakraborty, who was recently elected as TMC Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha, joined Mamata in the rally.
"We have come to power in West Bengal after 34 years and brought 'paribartan' there. Now it is your turn to do the same for the betterment of Jharkhand," Banerjee told an election rally here. "We will be the number one party after the results are out," she added.
Referring to the frequent change of government in the state, "Now it is an opportune time to vote for the Trinamool candidates as our party will call the shots in Delhi after the elections" she said. The TMC has fielded five candidates for the 14 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand -- Ranchi, Lohardanga, Dhanbad, Palamu and Giridih.
Attacking the BJP,Banerjee said that the saffron party would never come to power
Lashing out at the Congress and BJP for the policy of splitting states, she said that there were no instances of good governance in Chattisgarh, Uttarakhand and Jharkhand for which this was done. Attacking the BJP, Banerjee said that the saffron party would never come to power. "Do not support the BJP as it believes in dividing the country on religious lines and has a penchant for causing disturbances in the form of violence and riots," she said.
Similarly, taking on the Congress, she said "the party is already finished." Banerjee said that Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha had been victims of perennial neglect by the Centre. "Now time has come to knock at the door in Delhi and claim our just rights. This is an opportune time and opportunities do not come often," Banerjee maintained.
