Lucknow Shocker: Woman Groped, Harassed On Bike In Broad Daylight | WATCH

Lucknow Police arrested two men after a video went viral showing a woman being harassed by a group of men under the Taj Hotel bridge in the Gomti Nagar area.

In the video, the woman, riding pillion on a motorcycle during heavy rain, falls off the bike as the men stop and start pulling the vehicle.

The 25-second video captures the men splashing water on the duo, causing them to lose balance, and one of the men is seen inappropriately touching the woman before the fall.

The video, which spread quickly on X, sparked widespread outrage.

A user commented, "Miscreants are so unafraid that they don't even have a second thought before touching a woman."

Another user condemned the incident, saying, "This is absolutely shocking in broad daylight; so many people are involved in this shameful incident."

A third user remarked, "Society is full of people with very bad thinking. These people should be identified, and strict action should be taken."

As more similar videos surfaced online, depicting people being harassed while navigating waterlogged roads, the public called for stringent action against those responsible.

One X user remarked, "They all must be recognized & arrested for harassing a woman."

The incident occurred on a day of heavy rainfall in Lucknow, which caused flooding in parts of the city, including the Vidhan Sabha building where the Monsoon session of the state assembly was in progress.

Slamming the Yogi Adityanath-led government, Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Singh Yadav posted on X, "The Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly needs the budget the most. If this is the condition after a torrential rain, then the rest of the state is at the mercy of God."
