Likely List Of Haryana Cabinet Ministers In Nayab Saini Government: 15 Portfolios Shortlisted
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nayab Singh Saini is scheduled to be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Haryana for a second term on Thursday, October 17. The ceremony will be graced by the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and other top BJP leaders. Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya will officiate the proceedings, administering the oath of office and secrecy.
Following the recent Haryana assembly elections held on October 8, the BJP has secured victory in Haryana, winning 48 seats. With the support of three independent candidates, the party's tally now stands at 51 seats, setting the stage for the formation of a new government. A crucial meeting is scheduled in Panchkula, attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, signifying the central leadership's active involvement in finalising the Haryana cabinet ministers list.

The selection of cabinet ministers is already in motion, with 15 MLAs being shortlisted for potential roles. This group features a mix of seasoned politicians and new entrants, balancing continuity with fresh perspectives. Of the 15, seven have prior experience as ministers, and one has served as deputy speaker. Key figures include Nayab Saini, Anil Vij, and Rao Narbir Singh, all of whom bring significant political experience and regional influence to the table.
Anil Vij, a veteran MLA with seven consecutive assembly victories, is a frontrunner for a top cabinet position and is even considered for the Deputy Chief Minister role. Vij's experience, combined with his strong representation of the Punjabi community, makes him a vital component in the BJP's strategy for Haryana. The party leadership aims to create a cabinet that balances regional and community interests, all while leveraging administrative expertise.
Rao Narbir Singh is another notable figure, with strong support from both his constituency and the BJP leadership. His previous tenure as a cabinet minister enhances his chances of securing a key position. Meanwhile, the inclusion of candidates like Bimla Chaudhary and Laxman Yadav, both allies of influential regional leaders, underscores the BJP's focus on political alliances and electoral strength.
The BJP's prospective cabinet also aims to reflect Haryana's diverse demographics. Candidates like Vipul Goyal and Moolchand Sharma are being considered for their ability to represent specific communities and for their solid legislative performances. Mahipal Dhanda and Krishna Gehlawat, both influential in Jat-dominated areas, are expected to bolster the party's outreach in these key regions, further consolidating the BJP's presence.
Among the new faces, Shruti Chaudhary, who won the Tosham assembly seat and comes from a prominent political family, is a strong contender for a ministerial post. Similarly, Harvinder Kalyan, with his ties to the Rod community and close connections to the current Chief Minister, is likely to secure a cabinet berth. Other potential candidates include Krishan Lal Panwar, Ranbir Gangwa, and Ghanshyam Sarraf, reflecting the party's focus on community representation and parliamentary expertise.
As the BJP prepares to form its new government in Haryana, the central leadership is carefully crafting a cabinet that integrates experience, regional representation, and a deep understanding of community interests. This strategic mix of ministers is intended to lead Haryana towards a balanced and inclusive administration, addressing the needs of its diverse population while ensuring effective governance in the state.
