AAP leader Kumar Vishwas moves HC against DCW notice
New Delhi, May 7: AAP leader Kumar Vishwas on Thursday moved the Delhi High Court seeking stay on the summons issued to him by the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) on a volunteer's complaint that her life was ruined because he was refusing to publicly deny "rumours" of their alleged affair.

The plea also sought direction that the woman, an Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) volunteer, be restrained from giving public statements on the issue.
The party has defended Vishwas and said the allegations against him are "baseless".
The woman, who had taken part in Vishwas's campaign in the Amethi Lok Sabha constituency in 2014 general election, went public here asking Vishwas to deny "rumours" of their alleged affair. She took the matter to the DCW which summoned Vishwas.
