Kerala Man Makes World's Smallest Washing Machine, Gets Featured In Guinness World Record
Kerala native Sebin Saji has astonished the world with his remarkable engineering abilities by creating an unusual gadget that most tech enthusiasts wouldn't even consider-the world's smallest functional washing machine.
This tiny device measures just 1.28 inches by 1.32 inches by 1.52 inches, making it even smaller than a Tamagotchi, the popular handheld digital pet from the 1990s.

Guinness World Records has recognised Saji's washing machine as the smallest ever produced. Despite its miniature size, the machine operates similarly to a regular washing machine, though it is only capable of handling exceptionally small loads.
Saji's creation has garnered attention for its precision and highlights the potential for miniaturisation in engineering.
According to Guinness World Records, to qualify for the record, Saji had to design, assemble, and demonstrate that the washing machine could run a full cycle, including washing, rinsing, and spinning. He used specialised digital callipers to measure the device.
In a video demonstration, Saji is seen adding a tiny amount of washing powder and water before closing the machine and starting the cycle.
A crowd gathered to witness his impressive skills, breaking into applause when the official measurements were announced. While it may not be practical for everyday laundry, the gadget has provided much amusement.
Interestingly, the world's smallest vacuum cleaner was also recently created in India, measuring just 0.65 cm (0.25 in) at its shortest axis.
