Karni Sena Announces Rs 1.11 Crore Reward For Lawrence Bishnoi's Assassination
As the inquiry into the murder of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Siddique broadens, the Kshatriya Karni Sena has announced a bounty for the assassination of Lawrence Bishnoi, the imprisoned gangster who has admitted to orchestrating Siddique's killing in Mumbai.
In an announcement made through a video, Raj Shekhawat, the leader of the Kshatriya Karni Sena, declared a reward of Rs 1,11,11,111 for any law enforcement officer who successfully eliminates Bishnoi. Shekhawat emphasized that this reward would be bestowed upon any security staff member who manages to conduct Bishnoi's encounter.

Shekhawat further accused Bishnoi of being the murderer behind the death of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, a revered figure and the head of the Karni Sena. Gogamedi tragically lost his life to gunfire by unknown attackers in Jaipur on December 5, 2023.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang swiftly took responsibility for this heinous act just hours following the murder. Bishnoi, whose original name is Balkaran Brar, is currently incarcerated in Sabarmati Central Jail in Gujarat. The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and National Investigation Agency (NIA) are investigating him in connection to several cases.
Shortly after Siddique was fatally shot outside his son's office, the Bishnoi gang publicly accepted responsibility for the murder. This claim was made by Shubham Lonkar in a post on social media.
Further investigations uncovered that the Maharashtra module of the Bishnoi gang was initially approached to carry out the murder. They demanded Rs 50 lakh but eventually withdrew due to a disagreement over the payment terms and the substantial influence of the NCP leader.
The expansion of the Bishnoi gang has been remarkable, drawing parallels to the rise of Dawood Ibrahim in the 1990s, according to the NIA. With over 700 shooters, 300 of whom are linked to Punjab, the gang's reach and power have grown significantly.
The NIA has charged 16 members of this gang, including Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, under the stringent UAPA law for their criminal activities. In its chargesheet, the NIA highlighted the similarities in operational strategies between the Bishnoi gang and Dawood Ibrahim's D-Company, marking a significant concern for law enforcement agencies.
This case has not only shed light on the intricate web of gang affiliations and criminal activities but also on the challenges faced by law enforcement in curbing such networks. As investigations continue, the eyes of the nation remain fixed on the unfolding developments in this high-profile case, awaiting justice for the victims and a crackdown on criminal syndicates menacing society.
