Kamal Nath To Join BJP? Jitu Patwari Junks Rumors, Asks Can Indira Ji's "Third Son" Ever Leave Congress?
Hours after reports created a buzz in Indian politics that former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and ex-Congress state chief Kamal Nath may join BJP ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Jitu Patwari junked all the rumors. Patwari said, that Indira ji's third son, after Rajiv Gandhi and Sanjay Gandhi, will never leave the grand-old party.
"Can anyone dream of Indiraji's third son quitting Congress?" said Jitu Patwari.

"These talks about Kamal Nath are baseless. Indiraji had introduced Mr Nath as her third son while addressing a public meeting (in Chhindwara) when he fought elections for the first time in 1980," Jitu Patwari told reporters in Bhopal.
Replying to the speculations that Kamal Nath wanted a Rajyasabha seat, Jitu Patwari said, "Kamal Nath himself proposed the name of Ashok Singh as the Congress nominee for Rajya Sabha which was endorsed unanimously by party leaders".
Kamal Nath's long-time colleague in Congress Digvijaya Singh also rubbished the speculations calling them just a narrative and pressure tactics done by BJP's social media cell.
Kamal Nath's son Nakul Nath added fuel to the fire of rumors after he dropped Congress from his social media bio. Reports added Kamal Nath, his son Nakul Nath along with some MLAs may join BJP on Sunday in the presence of the party's top leadership.
