JEE Main Result 2024 Session 1:NTA Releases Final Answer Key @jeemain.nta.ac.in, 6 Questions Dropped
The final answer key of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024, session 1, was released today (February 12) by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The answer key can be checked by students who appeared for the January session at the official JEE website - jeemain.nta.ac.in.
This time, six questions have been dropped in the final answer key - three in Mathematics and three in Physics. A list of questions dropped from the JEE Main 2024 session 1 exams can be checked, reported Indian Express.

6 Questions dropped
The dropped questions may result in an addition to marks for JEE Main 2024 Session 1. According to the NTA information brochure, "If a question is dropped then full marks will be awarded to all candidates who have appeared irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate." This applies specifically to MCQ-type questions.
For numerical value questions, if a question is found to be incorrect or dropped, then four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question. This could be due to human error or technical error.
Furthermore, a Physics question from the January 30 (first shift) with question ID 533543864 has two answers: 5335432831, and 5335432832. In such a case, four marks (+4) will be awarded only to those who have marked any of the correct options.
The provisional answer key for JEE Main 2024 Session 1 was released on February 6, and candidates were given time until February 9 to challenge the answer key. NTA then reviewed the raised objections and released the final answer key today. The JEE Main 2024 results will now be released by NTA based on the final answer key.
