Jat quota stir: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar heckled in Rohtak
New Delhi, Feb 23: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was heckled by protestors on Tuesday. Reportedly, Khattar faced this embarrassing moment while taking stock of the situation in Rohtak district, the worst hit by the Jat agitation violence.
As per media reports, Chief Minister was also greeted with 'murdabad' slogan by angry residents of the area.

Assuring people that culprits who flared up violence in the area will be punished, Khattar said, "Strict action to be taken against those who caused loss to private property during Jat stir".
He further said, "Action to be taken against district and police officials for any lapse in handling situation".
Earlier, violence affected areas of Haryana limped back to normalcy on Tuesday even as authorities remained cautious about some parts which were still tense in the aftermath of the Jat agitation which paralysed life in the state in the last nine days.
Officials said that traffic had been restored on the Delhi-Ambala national highway No. 1 (NH-1). Three people were killed when Jat protesters blocked the highway on Monday, forcing security forces to open fire on them.
Traffic was also restored on the Delhi-Hisar NH-10, especially near Sampla town, police said.
