During his return to Rameswaram, where he was scheduled to unveil the Pamban railway bridge, PM Modi took to X to share his reflections along with a video showcasing the Ram Setu. He expressed gratitude for the rare opportunity to witness both the Ram Setu and the Surya Tilak ceremony simultaneously, highlighting this as a reaffirmation of Lord Ram's role in unifying the country. "Blessed to have the Darshan of both. Prabhu Shri Ram is a uniting force for all of us. May His blessings always remain upon us," he stated.

The Ram Setu holds a special place in the hearts of many Indians, believed to be part of a bridge constructed by Lord Ram and his army to reach Lanka and defeat the demon king Ravana. Modi's sighting of this legendary structure coincided with his visit to Tamil Nadu for the inauguration of several development projects, including the Pamban sea bridge. This new railway bridge establishes a vital connection between Rameswaram island and the mainland, enhancing the region's connectivity.

PM Modi's visit to Tamil Nadu was marked by significant events, including the inauguration of the Pamban sea bridge and the launch of a new train service between Rameswaram and Tambaram (Chennai). The Prime Minister also participated in a ceremony where he flagged off a Coast Guard ship, which made its way under the newly inaugurated bridge. These developments underscore the government's commitment to boosting infrastructure and connectivity in the region, coinciding with the celebration of Ram Navami.
