The counting of votes for the election to Haryana's Jagadhri assembly constituency has commenced. Early trends indicate that Congress is leading in 18 assembly seats, followed by the BJP with 8 seats and the INLD with 2.

The main candidates in the Jagadhri Legislative Assembly constituency include Kanwar Pal Gurjar from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Akram Khan from the Congress party, Ashok Kumar from the Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram), Adarsh Pal Singh from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and Darshan Lal from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). The Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) is allied with the ASP (Kanshi Ram) in the state, while the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has formed a coalition with the BSP.

In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, Kanwar Pal of the BJP secured this seat by defeating Akram Khan of the Indian National Congress (INC) by a margin of 16,373 votes, representing 9.59% of the total votes cast. The BJP garnered a vote share of 38.88% in that election.

In the 2014 Haryana Assembly elections, Kanwar Pal S/O Chandan Singh from the BJP also won this seat, defeating Akram Khan of the BSP by a margin of 34,156 votes, which accounted for 20.61% of the total votes cast. The BJP achieved a vote share of 44.78% in 2014.

In the 2009 Haryana Assembly elections, Akram Khan of the BSP won this seat by defeating Subhash Chand of the INC by a margin of 4,328 votes, which represented 3.35% of the total votes cast. The BSP received a vote share of 30.85% in that election.
