J-K: Former Sarpanch killed by gunmen in Pulwama
The bullet-ridden body of the former village head was found in Chewa Kalan village
Srinagar, March 13: Police on Monday recovered the body of a former Sarpanch (village head), who had been kidnapped and later killed by gunmen in south Kashmir's Pulwama district.

Police said some unidentified gunmen forced their entry into the house of a former Sarpanch, Fayaz Ahmad Dar, in Kakapora area of Pulwama district in the morning.
"He was forced to accompany the gunmen," police said.
The bullet-ridden body of the former village head was found in Chewa Kalan village of Pulwama district, they added.
