IndiGo Flight To Baku Takes Off Without Clearances, Pilots Grounded
A pilot has been grounded by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the aviation regulatory body, for allegedly taking off the Baku-bound IndiGo plane without Air Traffic Controllers (ATC) clearances.
According to the DGCA, the Baku-bound IndiGo plane was taken off without ATC clearances, reported ANI.

Baku Indigo Flight Takes Off Without ATC Clearance
An investigation has been initiated by the DGCA where an IndiGo plane from Delhi to Baku took off without ATC clearances," it was stated. According to a senior DGCA official, "the pilot of 6E-1803 by IndiGo has been placed off duty pending the investigation."
"The pilots of IndiGo's January 29, 2024, Delhi-Baku flight (6E 1803) have been taken off flying duty as the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) examines whether they took off without the required air traffic control (ATC) clearance," it was further added.
The departure took place at approximately 7:38 p.m. on January 29. Indigo has stated that necessary action will be taken as required.
"In relation to reports concerning IndiGo flight 6E 1803 operating between Delhi and Baku on January 28, 2024, the incident is presently under investigation, and necessary action will be taken as deemed fit," stated IndiGo in a release.
