Indian Railways Introduces 'Book Now, Pay Later' Scheme For Passengers
Indian Railways has introduced a convenient 'Book Now, Pay Later' scheme for travellers. This initiative allows passengers to book train tickets online without immediate payment. To use this service, you must register at epaylater.in and complete the payment within 14 days to avoid a 3.5% service charge.
How to Use the Pay Later Service

To take advantage of this offer, first log into your IRCTC account. Click on the 'Book Now' option and fill in passenger details along with the captcha code. After submitting these details, you'll be directed to the payment page where various options like credit card, debit card, BHIM app, and net banking are available.
If you prefer the Pay Later option, registration is required at www.epaylater.in. Once registered, you can select this payment method and receive your train ticket without any upfront cost. Remember to settle the payment within 14 days of booking to avoid additional charges.
Important Conditions to Note
The 'Book Now, Pay Later' scheme requires full online booking completion. If payments are delayed beyond 14 days, a 3.5% service charge will apply. However, if settled within the specified period, no extra fees will be incurred.
This information is based on general guidelines and should be verified with expert advice before proceeding with any new scheme. News18 or its management does not confirm this information.
For those planning travel but lacking immediate funds for tickets, this scheme offers a stress-free solution by allowing bookings without instant payment obligations.
