How To Join PM Modi's 'Vocal For Local' Movement?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said the Vocal For Local movement is getting great momentum across the country as he shared an inspirational video on promoting local products.
The Prime Minister also urged the citizens to share selfies with indigenous products on the Namo App and make payments via UPI.

PM Modi shared an ad featuring Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna, who bat for Vocal For Local movement. Returning in their roles as 'Anupamaa' and Anuj Kapadia, this 'vocal for local' advertisement encourages individuals to explore local brands rather than consistently opting for well-known and branded products.
Prime Minister advocated the "Vocal for Local" message to foster the rapid advancement of the country by endorsing local products and to realize the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat. This message was conveyed during his seventh consecutive Independence Day Speech from the Red Fort's rampart on August 15, 2020.
The essence of 'Vocal for Local' is to not only produce and use local products but also to promote them. This initiative is geared towards generating employment opportunities for a multitude of individuals within the region, fostering the growth of local markets.
The broader objective is to propel the progress of these local markets to a level where they can export their goods to numerous countries worldwide, thus bolstering the Indian economy.
