Here's Why Rahul Gandhi Believes PM Modi Is A King And Not Prime Minister
Addressing party workers in Lucknow, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi said the Congress party must evolve its political strategies. He acknowledged past errors made by the party and stressed the necessity for change. "The Congress party will also have to change its politics in the coming times. This will have to be done," he stated at the event.
Gandhi criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing him as a monarch rather than a democratic leader. "Modi ji is a king, I am telling the truth," he remarked. He accused Modi of being disconnected from constitutional duties and acting as a figurehead for influential financiers.

Future Predictions and Political Intentions
Rahul Gandhi predicted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would secure no more than 180 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. He confidently asserted that Narendra Modi would not serve another term as prime minister. "I can give you in writing, if you want, that Narendra Modi is not going to be the PM again," he declared.
Despite his political lineage, Gandhi claimed disinterest in power politics. "I was born into it (power) and have no interest in it. But for me it's just a tool to help the public," he explained, highlighting his focus on public service over personal ambition.
Caste-Based Census Proposal
Gandhi advocated for a caste-based census should the INDIA bloc form a government. He argued that national strength requires inclusivity of all societal segments. "If you say that the 90 per cent will not come into bureaucracy, sports, media, judiciary and even beauty pageants, then what superpower will you make?" he questioned.
While discussing changes needed within Congress, Gandhi did not specify what these changes might entail. His remarks suggest an openness to reform but lacked detailed proposals or plans for implementation.
In conclusion, Rahul Gandhi's statements reflect his vision for both his party's future and India's political landscape. His critique of current leadership and call for inclusivity indicate his priorities moving forward.
