Haryana Health Minister Arti Singh Rao Highlights Commitment to Strengthening Healthcare and Promoting Research Initiatives
Haryana Health Minister Arti Singh Rao has reiterated the state's dedication to enhancing its healthcare infrastructure and promoting research through focused initiatives. This commitment was highlighted during the 34th annual conference of the North Zone Urological Society of India (NZ-USICON-24) on Friday evening. According to an official statement, Rao emphasised that the health and well-being of Haryana's citizens remain a top priority for the government.

Rao stated that the government is determined to create an environment conducive to medical excellence and innovation. She noted that Haryana has consistently led in healthcare initiatives, with events like this being vital for advancing medical science and patient care. The minister expressed optimism that the conference would significantly address health challenges, advance research, and promote skill development among medical professionals.

Dr SP Yadav, one of the organisers, informed Rao about the participation of over a thousand young urologists from the northern region in the conference. He mentioned that more than 10 live surgeries are being broadcast from various hospitals in Gurugram. The progress of the Haryana Urology Association, which has expanded from 12 members to over 80, was also shared with Rao.
