Eyewitness videos show the SUV charging straight at Tinku, running him over as he stood near the pickup point. The vehicle then reversed and moved forward again, allegedly crushing him a second time before fleeing the scene. Other delivery riders narrowly escaped being hit during the rampage.
Rider suffers critical injuries, shifted to Rewari hospital
Tinku sustained serious injuries to his head, chest and legs in the attack. Police reached the location after receiving an alert and rushed the injured rider to the Civil Hospital in Gurugram. Due to the severity of his condition, his family later shifted him to a hospital in Rewari for advanced treatment.
Scorpio seized, owner identified as accused
Using CCTV footage and vehicle registration details, Gurugram Police traced and seized the Scorpio involved in the incident. Preliminary investigation revealed that the SUV is registered in the name of Dr Naveen Yadav. Police said he was driving the vehicle at the time of the incident.
