Gujarat BJP General Secretary Pradipsinh Vaghela Resigns From Position
Pradipsinh Vaghela, a prominent member of the BJP, has resigned from his position as the Gujarat general secretary, according to party officials. While stepping down, Vaghela assured people that "everything will be alright in a few days."
Vaghela had held the post of general secretary of the state BJP since August 10, 2016.

This development comes just a year ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. In preparation for the polls, Gujarat BJP recently conducted a 'Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan' or mass contact program, which involved organizing gatherings of intellectuals and conventions of different business communities, among other activities.
As part of this extensive outreach initiative, the party successfully conducted 100 gatherings of intellectual citizens, conventions for various business communities, events hosted by various cells of the state BJP, and large rallies in all the 26 Lok Sabha constituencies.
