Govt Jobs 2025 Alert! CM Yogi Adityanath Announces 92,000 New Jobs In UP Budget 2025-26
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has highlighted the significance of the state's Budget for 2025-26. He emphasised its role in shaping a 25-year roadmap for development. "After a fabulous journey of 75 years since our Constitution was implemented, this budget is important for creating a roadmap for our next 25 years," he stated.
The Chief Minister underscored the theme of supporting the underprivileged in this budget. He mentioned that the government is establishing a Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar memorial and culture centre in Lucknow. "We have designed the 2025-2026 budget with the theme of aiding the deprived, as per the foundational sentiments of the Constitution," Yogi added.

Focus on Infrastructure and Employment
Yogi Adityanath pointed out that Uttar Pradesh is currently India's second-largest economy. The budget aims to achieve a USD 1 trillion economy target. Four new expressways are planned, and jobs will be provided to 92,000 youths. The CM noted that unemployment rates have decreased, with a focus on youth, entrepreneurs, and women.
Capital expenditure in the budget exceeds Rs 2 lakh 25 thousand crores, primarily allocated to infrastructure projects. This investment is expected to create jobs and bolster economic growth. "More than Rs 2 lakh 25 thousand crores have been proposed in the budget for capital expenditure, which will be spent on infrastructure. This will generate employment which will strengthen the economy... Uttar Pradesh has emerged as the second largest economy of the country today," he said.
Tourism Growth and Social Initiatives
The state has witnessed significant tourism growth, attracting over 65 crore visitors, including more than 14 lakh international tourists. The budget reflects dedication to uplifting disadvantaged groups, farmers, and young women. "This budget of 2025-26 is dedicated to the upliftment of the poor, food-providing farmers and young women...This budget also shows the commitment of the double engine government," he remarked.
An important initiative in this year's budget involves making cancer medicines more affordable. Additionally, substantial allocations have been made across various sectors: infrastructure (22%), education (13%), agriculture (11%), and medical (6%). Scholarships receive Rs 4,720 crores while Rs 900 crores are earmarked for marriages of daughters from impoverished families.
Budget Allocations and Cultural Projects
The government has set aside Rs 100 crore for land acquisition and Rs 50 crore for constructing Shri Banke Bihari Ji Maharaj Temple Mathura-Vrindavan Corridor. Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna presented an Rs 8,08,736-crore Budget for fiscal year 2025-26 in the state assembly.
