Rajasthan Police Arrest Kingpin of Gang Involved in Rs 2,000 Crore Cyber Fraud
A major cyber fraud operation, allegedly involving over Rs 2,000 crore, was dismantled with the arrest of its leader in Sriganganagar, Rajasthan. The police announced this development on Tuesday. Numerous complaints of cyber fraud had been lodged against the accused nationwide, with a significant number originating from Karnataka.

Gaurav Yadav, the Ganganagar District Superintendent of Police, stated that Kantappa Babu Chavan from Karnataka filed a complaint at Purani Abadi police station. He accused Ajay Arya and his associates of defrauding thousands by enticing them to invest large sums in CapmoreFX Company in Karnataka. The suspects had reportedly fled to Sriganganagar.
Arrest and Seizure
The police conducted a raid on Arya's residence, leading to his arrest. During the search, authorities seized Rs 10 lakh in cash, three CPUs, six mobile phones, eight ATM cards, three PAN cards, and a luxury car valued at approximately Rs 85 lakh. Various documents related to the cyber fraud were also recovered.
A case has been registered against several individuals including Ajay Arya, Deepak Arya, Lajpat Arya, Saurabh Chawla and his wife Saloni Chawla. Others named in the case are Karamjit Singh, Baljit Singh, and Rajendra Singh. The investigation is currently underway.
Company Involvement
The investigation uncovered that the accused had established a company called Techable Tech in 2022 in Vijayapura district, Karnataka. This company was allegedly used to provide cyber training to individuals as part of their fraudulent activities.
The police are continuing their probe into the matter to uncover further details about the extent of the fraud and any additional individuals involved. The authorities aim to bring all those responsible to justice and prevent further incidents of such large-scale cyber fraud.
