Flowers, ‘Jai Bajrangbali’ greet PM Modi during final leg of Karnataka campaign

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a grand roadshow in Bengaluru today. The rally was attended by lakhs of people.

The BJP is making a final push ahead of the May 10 elections, the results of which will be declared on May 13. The PM will hold a mega roadshow in the city on Sunday too.

The BJP has been going to town with the manifesto of the Congress which had said that it would ban outfits such as the Bajrang Dal and PFI. The PFI to be sure has already been banned by the centre in September 2022.

The BJP sees a lot of relevance of the PM's rallies. He was greeted by flowers and dancing Lord Hanumans as he went about the roadshow.

There has been a lot of build up ahead of the PM's rally in Bengaluru. There are 28 seats up for grabs in the state.

Ahead of the rally several BJP leaders including Shobha Karandlage recited the 'Hanuman Chalisa' in opposition to the Congress. During the rally the chants of 'Jai Bajrangbali could heard. The people had gathered in large numbers ahead of the PM's rally and when it began there was plenty of enthusiasm among the crowd.

Meanwhile ahead of the rally, the PM promised unparalleled momentum of grow under the rule of the BJP.

"Be it technology or transportation, we shall work on pioneering solutions that are in line with people's expectations and those which reaffirm Bengaluru's position as a global hub for tech and innovation," the PM wrote on Twitter.

Ahead of the rally a sea of humanity had descended on the streets of Bengaluru to witness the rally. There were some who were seen on wheelchairs and while spoken to, they said that they had come to bless the PM.

Security is at an all-time high and traffic advisories have been issued galore with people being asked to avoid several roads in the city on Saturday and Sunday. The PM's Karnataka rallies would conclude on Sunday.
