Excise Policy Case: Arvind Kejriwal Skips Enforcement Directorate's 3rd Summon In Delhi
Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party Supremo Arvind Kejriwal will not appear in front of the Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday. It is going to be the third occasion when Arvind Kejriwal will skip the summoning. The investigating agency had summoned the Delhi CM for questioning in relation to money laundering in the Delhi Excise Policy Case.
Rubbishing the Enforcement Directorate's third notice, Aam Aadmi Partry said the Chief Minister will not appear for questioning today. The Delhi-ruling party also termed the ED's notice as illegal, adding that the agency is working on the Centre's command intending to arrest CM Kejriwal.

Arvind Kejriwal has already skipped two summons sent to him for grilling on November 2 and December 21.
However, the party keeps on reiterating that they are ready to cooperate with the investigating agency but Kejriwal will not appear.
"Why has the notice been sent right before elections? The notice is an attempt to stop Kejriwal from campaigning in elections," the AAP said.
Earlier in April, Arvind Kejriwal was questioned by the Central Bureau of Investigation.
AAP's top leaders Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh are already behind bars in connection with the same case, while Satyendra Jain is out on bail considering his ill health.
The party had termed the Enforcement Directorate's action as a conspiracy done by the BJP against INDIA bloc leaders ahead of the General Elections 2024. In an official statement, after Arvind Kejriwal skipped the second summoning, AAP had said that the case against Kejriwal is entirely fabricated and politically motivated, with no evidence presented in court.
