Spying case: Delhi Police arrest ex-IAF personnel from Punjab
New Delhi, Dec 29: In furtherance of their probe into the espionage cases a former personnel of the Indian Air Force has been arrested by the Delhi police from Punjab.
The Delhi police picked up the former IAF personnel on the suspicion that he was passing on information to the ISI.

Over the past month several former personnel of the army have been arrested by the police on charges of spying for the ISI, Pakistan. While one officer was picked up in Jammu and Kashmir the others were picked up in West Bengal and Rajasthan.
Delhi police officials say that the personnel were leaking sensitive information to the ISI in exchange for money. Information such as troop movement and positioning of forces were the most sought after information the police had learnt.
It was also revealed the network of spies posted by the ISI was highest in Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, Rajasthan and Punjab.
Officials say that several more former personnel of the armed forces are under the scanner. Investigations are being conducted with the help of the armed forces and also the respective state police.
