Election Results 2023: ECI Website Resumes After Brief Glitch

As the counting commenced for the 2023 Assembly Elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana, numerous users encountered issues accessing the Election Commission of India (ECI) website. Many reported on social media that the website either failed to load or had crashed. Moreover, users expressed frustration that the site didn't display any trends even by 9 am.

Amidst these complaints, sources indicated that the Election Commission was investigating potential issues with their official website, following numerous social media posts highlighting delays in early trend numbers.

However, the website is functioning properly.

Counting commenced at 8 am on Sunday, December 3, for Assembly Elections in four states. However, the counting for Mizoram Assembly Elections 2023 is scheduled for Monday. Despite early trends reported by various news channels, users faced a lack of trend data on the eci website https://results.eci.gov.in/.

Exit polls had foreseen a balanced 2-2 scenario between the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) across the four states, mirroring the trends observed. As per initial trends, the BJP held a lead in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, while the Congress took the lead in Chhattisgarh and Telangana.
