Atiq was shot at least 9 times, says autopsy report
The autopsy report of gangster Atiq Ahmed who was murdered on Saturday night has found that he had been shot at least nine times.
Reports said that at least nine bullet injuries were found in the body of the dreaded gangster during the postmortem. Five bullets were recovered from the body of his brother Ashraf Ahmed, who was also shot dead by two persons pretending to be journalists outside a hospital in Prayagraj.

An NDTV report said that Atiq was shot once on the head and eight times on the chest and back. The headshot was captured live on television as three shooters, all under arrest now, rained bullets on the gangster turned politician and his brother. Both died on the spot.
The autopsy fund five bullet injuries in Ashraf's body, one on the face and four on his back.
A team of five doctors conducted the postmortem. The entire proceeding was video-graphed to ensure that there is a proper probe into the high-profile case.
