Delhi Government Provides Rs 10 Lakh Compensation to Family of Drain Accident Victim Manoj Kumar

A compensation of Rs 10 lakh has been announced by the Delhi government for Manoj Kumar's family. Manoj, a young man, tragically died after falling into a drain near the UP border. Senior leaders from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) visited his family to express their condolences and offer support, as stated by the party.

Delhi Offers Compensation for Drain Accident Victim

According to the statement, the incident took place around 1 am near Khora Colony. Manoj was immediately taken to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital but was declared dead upon arrival. The AAP National Convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, instructed Cabinet Minister Mukesh Ahlawat to visit the site and meet Manoj's family.

Government's Commitment to Support

Minister Mukesh Ahlawat emphasised that while no financial assistance can replace a lost life, the government is dedicated to supporting Manoj's family during this difficult time. "We are providing Rs 10 lakh as financial assistance and will offer all possible support," Ahlawat stated.

Kondli MLA Kuldeep Kumar shared that he was informed about the incident at around 1 am. He mentioned that Manoj's body was brought to Bahadur Shastri Hospital following the accident. "This is a deeply tragic incident," he remarked.

Ensuring Necessary Assistance

Kuldeep Kumar further expressed that the young man's life was abruptly ended in a devastating accident. He assured that they are committed to ensuring Manoj's family receives all necessary help and solidarity during this challenging period.

The Delhi government's response highlights its commitment to standing by citizens in times of need. By offering financial aid and emotional support, they aim to provide some relief to Manoj's grieving family.
